***Update on Stellan #2***

So here is what I know so far. Stellan had a central line placed (a more permanent type of IV that goes straight to the heart; as opposed to the normal IV that has to be replaced every 3 days if it last that long without things going wrong.) and that surgery went well. So at least he wont have to get stuck all the time anymore because they can also draw blood from it as well. Although this is a great thing that will make taking care of Stellan easier with the vast amounts of medications and lab work that they are putting him through right now, the risk for infection is HUGE! And since this is going directly into his heart if it were to get infected......well lets just pray that never happens.

Stellan is still in SVT, but his heart rate is slower now just under 200, but that is still dangerously to fast. As of about 20 minutes ago he has not has a run of V-Tach for about an hour.

Jennifer is doing OK. She has up moments, and down moments which is to be expected. She herself now has the cold that started this entire mess and she feels terrible.

Please continue to pray, it looks as though the prayers are working he is in better shape that he was in my last post! Jennifer knows that it may not be Gods plan to heal Stellan hear on Earth, and she is at a state of peace with that. Please Continue to pray that she has the emotional, and physical strength to handle what the days ahead may bring. I will keep you posted when I know more. I have also added a link to the title of this post to Jennifer's site. All you have to do is click the title to this post and it will take you to her site where you can get the updates from her.
Thanks for all the prayers!

***Update On Stellan***

Just herd from MacMama and just as soon as I finished the post about Stellan he went into prolonged V-Tach! For those of you with no medical background V-Tach is called Ventricular Tachycardia and the is DEADLY!!! The ventricles of the heart are no longer beating, they are QUIVERING! Which means no blood is getting to the vital organs, like the lungs, kidneys, brain. A person can live in this rhythm for only MINUTES.

The Dr. gave him some medicine to stop it and it was working! He actually went back into a Normal Rhythm! Then the IV that was in his foot became occluded (blocked) and he was no longer getting the medication, so he went back into the SVT again. Which as bad as it is, this is preferred compared to the V-Tach.

Jennifer is at peace right now, I think she is still in shock from Today's events. Please pray that she stays strong (remember she still has 3 small children at home as well). I will let you know more when I know more. For now I will leave you with a verse that Angie posted and I think it fits the situation perfectly!

Psalm 91:14-15
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD,
"I will rescue him; I will protect him,
for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me,
and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

Pray For Stellan

If you have been reading my blog for any amount of time you have seen the button to one of my favorite blogs. Her name is MacMama (real name is Jennifer) and she needs our help!

First a little bit of history. She lives in the Midwest with what she calls her many small children. She has 4 children under the age of 6, There is the oldest Big Mac he is 5, McNugett he is 3, Small Fry she is 2, and McMuffan (Stellan) he is 4 months. She gave them these names to keep the privacy of her family and I think its adorable!

She gave out Stellan's name because when she was pregnant with him he was diagnosed with SVT (Supra ventricular Tachycardia) which a deadly fast heart rate to put it as simple as possible. She was told that he would not live outside the womb because of this heart rate! Being the woman of faith that she is, she prayed and trusted God, and found peace with whatever his plan for Stellan was.......And IT WAS A BIG ONE!

As soon as he was born Stellan was cured!!!!! He was in a normal heart rhythm, and was a perfectly healthy little baby boy. (Hmmmm see what can happen when we believe!) Can you imagine going into the delivery room expecting to lose your baby and he comes out cured! PRAISE THE LORD!!

So Stellan has had no other problems with his heart for the rest of his life! Until this week he developed a nasty cold. MacMama took him to the ER for nebulizer(a medication that helps to open the airway when patients have a hard time breathing)treatments and the medication threw Stellan back into SVT. He has been in the PICU for 4 days with a heart rate in the 250s-300s! It does not take a medical person to know that the heart can not last long with heart rates like that!

The doctors have tried everything, medications that are supposed to "reset" the heart, (which by the way are making Stellan feel very bad physically....which is a normal side affect) and some other maneuvers that are supposed to shock his heart back into normalicy...all to no avail! Now as of this morning he is having beats of V-Tach which is DEADLY rhythm where the heart is no longer beating, it pretty much is just quivering!

So I am asking you as my friends to please pray for this sweet baby boy! God has healed him once, please pray that he will see fit to do so again. MacMama has over 4 Million readers on her blog (which puts my meek 250 or so to shame) and can you imagine if that many people saw that God healed Stellan! What a miracle. Also please pray that Jennifer will find peace with whatever God's will is. You can access her blog by the button on my sidebar, or for those of you that subscribe to the e-mail you can CLICK HERE and see her blog that she updates regularly with info on Stellan's condition.

Please Pray Right Now!

With Love in Christ

I have been reading this devotional book named The Power Of A Positive Mom by Karol Ladd. Its a really good study and I suggest it to all of you Mothers out there.

What I Learned This Week #4

***Update*** I have officially found the best thing since sliced bread! I have been on line for a while looking at some possibilities for an Easter Dress and I came upon this site, I think I am in love! You can go there, put in your measurements, what kind of clothes you like, how you like them to fit, and what style you like to wear and they show you the best cloths for YOUR shape! Its like having your own personal shopper, and you never have to worry about the cloths not fitting because they are tailored to your measurements! They even have a "no size" option so that they will send you the clothes that fit and won't even put a size in it, (just in case you don't want to know!) Well I just thought I would share that- by the way just cause someone asked me last night, the underlined words that are a different color on the post are links! Just click on them and it will take you to whatever I happen to be talking about at the time! Hope that helps!

It's that time of week again! (OK so I know, its been more like 2 weeks, but better late than never?) Before I start let me explain something to you about how this works. When I said that I wanted to know what you have learned this week I meant that I wanted you to post it as a comment on HERE!

What I mean by that is the last one some of you (Well all of you mostly) e-mailed me what you learned this week. That is fine and great I never really knew that there was so many people that read this blog, it touches my heart that you like to read about my boring mundane life! Please DO NOT get me wrong here I love to hear from all of you and I read EVERY last one of them, but there are 3 problems with this:

1) I am the only ones that get to read it and I was wanting to be able to share with everybody

2) Over the last 2 weeks I have received 78 e-mails of what you have learned this week, again I LOVE it, but it is really hard to read 78 e-mails at one time!

3) I have it set up on my phone to let me know when I get new e-mails, so my phone beeped at me 78 times! That gets old quick!

For those of you who missed the post about how I would like to do this please click here and read this one to get caught up.

So now that the business is over here is what I have learned this week:

1) That daycare should really be called Germshare!

2) It is totally OK for a 2 year old to have a 105.2 temp. (Not in my book, but MD was not really worried at all)

3) Bubble Bath is Non-Toxic

4)Weight Watcher does not actually work if you just go to one meeting, buy the books, and then forget all about it! You actually have to FOLLOW the plan!

5)I may get to work on my floor after all (Now that I don't really know if I want to or not)

6) I trusted Jesus as my savior many years ago and I know that I am going to spend eternity with him, I now have to work on Trusting Jesus as my Teacher! Want to join me? (Thanks again Pete)

7) That me and my sister seem to laugh at situations that we really shouldn't be laughing at. And we do it all the time.

8) That I love to laugh all day with my sisters!

9) That my Mama is a life saving ANGEL! (Well I've always known that)

OK that is all that I have for this week! What have you learned?

Karma

I don't know if I really believe in Karma or not. What I do believe is that my God is a vengeful God, and I think that sometimes he may just have a sense of humor! Take this for example:

Yesterday I had an interesting day. I fought Zach for almost 2 hours trying to get him to take a nap (he never did)! So I decided that I was going to give it up and go to the grocery store. We got about 2 miles from the grocery store and he fell asleep!! I ended up carrying him through the grocery store while he slept on my shoulder. Just take note here that stuff like that NEVER happens with him; he always wakes up when you turn the car off, but not this time. He did, however, wake up the minute I put him back in the car seat!

Thank-You Baby, now that Mommy's back is broken!

OK, sorry this story does have a point I promise!

So I decided that since it was a rainy, nasty day I would go rent us some movies to watch that night. When I got to the movie store there was this woman.....well by woman I mean 5'11" 250+ pounds she-man....in there on the phone. Just to make the picture clear she had tattoos of naked women all up her arm, a ring in her lip and she was seriously wearing leather pants!

I'm not kidding...I like to write, but I couldn't make this stuff up on a good writing day!

I don't know who she was talking to, or about but every other word was "F" this and "S" that and she is going to beat the "SNOT" (obviously I am putting better words in place of the words that she was using) out of someone.

Lets get something clear here, I was NOT ease dropping she was SCREAMING! Everybody in the store knew that someone had cheated on her best friend and she was going to beat someone up!

So, I hastened to pick up two movies and tried to get out of there before Little Bit suddenly started talking really well! (i.e. repeating her) I was standing in line waiting on my turn to pay and here comes she-man! She booted me out of the way and skipped ahead of me in line!

I tapped her on the back, told her how rude I thought she was and that she needed to watch her mouth in public. She promptly apologized and let me have my rightful place back in line!.......

In my head!!

I was not about to say a word to this crazy women! So I let her go ahead in an attempt to keep the peace, and the current arrangement of my face!

I finally paid and as we were leaving who was outside still screaming on the phone....that's right....she-man! As I was turning to go to the car I saw her start to leave to. I guess since she was in the middle of a heated conversation she wasn't paying attention to the length of the sidewalk, or maybe those leather pants were not made for the inconvenience of a sidewalk but either way....

She misjudged the length of the sidewalk, lost her footing, and fell off the sidewalk!!

I hurried to the car so that she wouldn't see me laughing!

Karma....or Gods sense of humor....you decide!

Backseat Jesus

In a past post I made reference to a friend of mine Pete Wilson, he is pastor of Cross point Baptist Church in Nashville, TN and he is an AWESOME man!! This month they are doing a series about "Backseat Jesus" and it looks like it is going to be touching!! I wanted to share the trailer he made for the series it really makes you think about your relationship with Christ. The trailer is above the post and I'm sorry about that, but that's the only way that the post will hold it. So watch the trailer, and let me know what you think! Let me know if this had touched you, or made you rethink your relationship with the Lord! I will send all responses to Pete!
Talk to you soon!
P.S. You will have to scroll down and pause the blog music to hear the video. Also if you are one of the ones that get my post via e-mail you will have to go to the site by clicking here to see the video because it wouldn't send by e-mail!
